At its heart, Broadside explores the years leading up to the American Revolution through the words, music, personalities, and printed broadsides that helped shape public opinion long before the first musket was fired. Bringing that story to audiences at the world’s largest performing arts festival gave us the opportunity to see how the show connected with people far beyond where it began.

Edinburgh was also an important part of the development process. Every performance taught us something about the music, the storytelling, the characters, and where the piece can go next. We came home with wonderful memories, valuable feedback, and an even clearer sense of the future of the show.
